Christleton High School GCSE results

CHRISTLETON High School finished its 50th anniversary year with the students producing the "best ever" results in the school’s history.

Head teacher Tony Lamberton said: "We are pleased to announce another good year for overall achievements and some excellent individual results.

"85% of all GCSE grades were at A*-C, which is a massive 15% increase.

The percentage of students achieving five A*-C grades including English and Maths is 74%, an increase of 12%."

The school reported that 11 students have achieved all A* and A grades in 10 subjects with one student, Jessica Faulkner, achieving a "fantastic" record A* grades in all 10 subjects.

The following students achieved A* and A grades in all 10 subjects:

Emily Adam, Catherine Hanson, Emily Mackenzie, Amy Owens,Sarika Paul, Timothy Price, Toni-Marie Simcott, Thomas Strange, Oswald To and Jack Williams.

Mr Lamberton added: "These results reflect the tremendous amount of hard work put in by students and staff over the last year and all the students are to be congratulated.

"Governors and staff wish them well with their careers, whether returning to our sixth form or moving elsewhere."
