Exploring a world of opportunities
THE door to a world of new learning opportunities is set to be opened to young people and adults in the region at West Cheshire College’s annual Careers Open Evening.
Ellesmere Port Civic Hall is the venue for this major event which is designed to help guide visitors through the vast range of learning and career options available to them, to help them make the best choices for their futures.
The event takes place on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm.
Principal Sara Mogel will also be launching the 14 - 19 Learning Opportunities 2009/10 prospectus which provides details of the opportunities on offer including full-time courses and Apprenticeship programmes.
Sara Mogel said: “For many young people, making decision about their future once they reach the age of 16 can be a daunting prospect. There are so many options available that without informed advice it can be difficult to establish what’s right for each individual.
“Our Careers Open Evening gives young people and adults alike the opportunity to speak to course tutors, careers advisers, local employers and universities about many learning, career and employment options.”
