NORTHERN STARS: The Queen’s School under 13s recovered from two goals down to win the north schools lacrosse tournament.

In their first four matches, the girls were able to secure comfortable victories over teams from Bolton School, Queen Margaret’s School, Withington Girls’ School and Harrogate Ladies College.

Queen’s met Birkenhead School in the final where they managed to secure a 5-3 victory at the tournament in York.

The victorious girls are Fiona Stockton (captain) Abigail Prothero, Eleanor Jones, Lucy Fearnall, Rachel Kewin, Millie Tunstall, Alice Kirby, Tilly De Soysa, Shani De Soysa, Mirahi De Soysa, Ruth Bell, Alex McNee, Harriet Jones, Hannah Cristo, Gemma Rigby, Ellie Morrison and Sophie Bradshaw.
