England's bid to claim an historic one-day series win over West Indies on Friday was delayed with steady rain postponing the start to the final one-day international.
The tourists were hoping to seal a victory to become the first England team ever to win a one-day series in the Caribbean, but were greeted by persistent showers when they arrived at the Beasuejour Stadium.
Match officials were waiting for the rain to stop before they could determine whether they could play a reduced match to settle the series.
England were expected to name an unchanged line-up with Kevin Pietersen (back spasm) and Andrew Flintoff (left thumb) having recovered from injuries they sustained during Sunday's nine-wicket win in Barbados.
Left-arm spinner Nikita Miller has been ruled out of the series decider for the West Indies with a side strain and was likely to be replaced by Sulieman Benn.
