Given undergoing City medical

Shay Given was undergoing a medical at Manchester City on Sunday as he closed in on a move away from Newcastle.
PA Sport understands the 32-year-old Republic of Ireland international was in the north-west after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Magpies boss Joe Kinnear revealed on Friday that the Tyneside club had given City permission to speak to Given after weeks of speculation over his future.
