Ameobi rescues Magpies

Shola Ameobi snatched a vital 1-1 derby draw for Newcastle against Sunderland as owner Mike Ashley returned to St James' Park.
The 27-year-old Ameobi converted a 68th-minute penalty as the Magpies fought back to deny the visitors a first league double over them in 42 years.
Djibril Cisse had put the Black Cats ahead with his 10th goal of the season 12 minutes before the break, but a hard-fought contest ended with honours even.
