Blood Red: Jamie Carragher’s 23 Foundation looking for fans to sign up for the Liverpool Marathon to raise money for good causes

JAMIE CARRAGHER’S 23 Foundation are looking for fans to sign up for the Liverpool Marathon in October and help them raise cash for good causes.

The foundation, which supports numerous charities, clubs and community initiatives across Merseyside, has a number of guaranteed places available for the event on Sunday, October 14.

Runners will need to pay a registration fee of £50 and pledge to raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship. In return they will get plenty of pre-race assistance from the 23 Foundation, including a fundraising pack, vest and handy tips.

The 23 Foundation was founded by Carragher in 2009 with the Community Foundation for Merseyside to provide funding for young people in Merseyside.

For information and to sign up, runners can contact 0151 232 2413 or email 23foundation@cfmerseyside.org.uk
