THEY say you should always aim high as a young footballer, and Krisztian Adorjan is certainly doing just that.
The Hungarian midfielder has progressed from Liverpool’s under-18s to Rodolfo Borrell’s reserve team this season, impressing many with his performances.
And the ambitious 19-year-old hopes to eventually follow in some very illustrious footsteps, as he looks to make his way on the football ladder.
Adorjan says: “I like to see myself, long-term, as a midfielder who can do everything.
“I look up to players like Gerrard, he is a top player who can do everything a midfielder needs to do.
“I love watching the Barcelona players; Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas. They are incredible players.
“My hero growing up was Zidane, but he is maybe a little more attacking than I am talking.
“But he was a hero; why not aim for the best?”
