SIX Liverpool fans will embark on a gruelling 76-mile run from Hillsborough to Anfield in April and they need your support.
The sponsorship they raise will be split between the Hillsborough Family Support Group and the Hillsborough Justice Campaign.
It will take them three days to complete the course and they expect to arrive at Anfield shortly before the game against Fulham on April 14.
Dominic Williams came up with the idea after being inspired by the Kop's Justice for the 96 crowd mosaic.
The other runners are Amerjit Taggar, Neil Mitchell, Earle Jackson, Chris Dale and John Driscoll.
“We will be collecting money along the route and the money will help continue the quest for justice for the 96,” Williams said.
Steve Rotheram MP and representatives of both the Hillsborough Family Support Group and the Hillsborough Justice Campaign attended the launch to show their support for the fundraiser.
The runners will set off from Hillsborough on April 12. To donate or to find out more about the run go to: hillsborough-anfieldrun.co.uk
