LIVERPOOL Reserves put in a fine display to beat Bolton Wanderers – but were indebted to the Academy.
Goals from under-18 players Adam Morgan and Raheem Sterling helped the second string to a 3-1 win, with Suso netting the other.
Victory followed the Reserves’ triumph over Chelsea the previous week.
"We must be happy in terms of the result but in terms of the performance we need to be more consistent during the 90 minutes," said Rodolfo Borrell.
