Jamie Carragher edits Liverpool FC magazine

Liverpool Football Club's official weekly magazine has a new editor – Jamie Carragher.

The Liverpool defender was invited to become LFC Weekly's first ever guest editor last week, for one week only, and he put his own stamp on the content of the magazine.

LFC Weekly issue 396, on sale this week, is packed with exclusive pictures and quotes from Carragher’s day as he decides what features in his special edition.

Jamie Carragher said: “Sometimes before a game Pepe will ask me a question from the programme. He always asks me the one he thinks I won’t get. So in my edition of the mag I’ve included something special for him. And as for the picture of me on the cover, I know the lads are going to rip me for that, but it wasn’t my idea...”

LFC Weekly editor Steve Hanrahan said: "Carra was a very enthusiastic editor and took the job seriously but also made our team laugh with his stories and opinions. Every Reds fan will want to see how he stamped his personality on Liverpool Football Club's official magazine."
