KEVIN SHEEDY believes the development of on-loan youngsters Luke Garbutt and Jake Bidwell provides a lesson to all of his U18 charges.
Garbutt has impressed on loan with League Two high-fliers Cheltenham Town, while Bidwell is part of a Brentford side chasing promotion from League One.
“They have done well, and the feedback we have had has been very positive,” said Sheedy. “They are performing at a decent level, and they are part of sides which are playing for something.
“That can only help their development as footballers, and people. Luke is playing in a team which is full of confidence, and he is more than holding his own, and the same goes for Jake. Both Brentford and Cheltenham are eager to keep hold of the lads for another month, which speaks volumes for the impact they’ve made.”
