TOFFEES who make the short trip to Anfield for Jamie Carragher’s testimonial today will have at least one reason to smile.
Royal Blue is a fully signed up member of the Super Lee Carsley fan club, so there will be melancholy twinges aplenty at seeing the midfielder back in the Everton ranks. Overall let’s hope it’s a game worthy of a player who, although not exactly Mr Popular at Goodison, deserves enormous credit for his long career and donation of all the proceeds to charity.
