KINGSLEY recorded a fine draw away to Division Two promotion challengers Lindow but remain perilously close to the bottom two.
Lindow rattled up 243-8 from their 45 overs, with Alex Hatt taking three quick wickets (3-46) near the end, but the hosts had set an imposing total.
But the highest opening stand of the year so far (51) signalled Kingsley’s intent to chase down the total and with John Elliott (91) at the crease, a win was possible.
Scoring at nearly a run a ball, Elliott claimed 18 cleanly struck boundaries, but with his dismissal Kingsley knew claiming maximum batting points was the sensible option.
Ben Pearce scored a patient 35 as they finished on 177-5.
The result leaves them fourth from bottom but just nine points clear of the relegation zone.
CHOLMONDELEY remain in the fight for the top two places after a low-scoring contest away to Woodford. Cholmondeley managed just 111ao but were still able to bowl out the hosts for 88ao.
BARROW remain rooted to the foot of the table after losing at home to Mere. The hosts notched up 191-9 but Mere went slightly better with 192-6.
