OULTON Park have brought the curtain down on their season to remember.
The Little Budworth outfit held their annual presentation evening at the Mill Pool restaurant to toast their successes.
Not only did their first team win the Cheshire County League Premier League as well as the Fred Graham Twenty20 Cup, their second XI also won promotion, meaning the club was awarded the Aggregate Trophy.
Oulton Park’s Under 17s side reached the final of the John North County Cup while several of the club’s stars helped Cheshire to county glory.
The club then held their AGM, where William de Malpas Egerton was re-elected as president. George Taylor stood down as chairman because of work commitments and was succeeded by Ken Torlop.
Sue Ramsbottom continues as vice-chairman and Mark Johnson as honorary treasurer. The long-serving Stephen Wright has been replaced as honorary secretary by Bob Wood. Peter Robinson remains as League representative and Gill Tyler as junior organiser.
Nathan Dumelow continues as club captain and Daniel Leech vice-captain. Roger Thompson will lead the seconds, assisted by vice-captain Mark Johnson, while Stuart Robinson will step up to captain the 3rds.
Oulton Park’s winter nets start at Tarporley High School on February 5 for seniors and February 10 for juniors.
