Frodsham fall short against Knutsford

A CLOSE game saw Frodsham lose to visitors Knutsford by 10 runs in Division One of the Cheshire Alliance.

The hosts knocked up 156-4 with Sheldon scoring 82 not out. After tea, Frodsham were bowled out for 146, Matt Williamson scoring 35 while McPartlon took 5-45. Tomorrow Frodsham host Woodford.

In Division Two at Radbroke Hall, visitors SAUGHALL won by eight wickets. Radbroke scored 117-9 with Rajasekar scoring 33 and Ali 34 runs while Andrews took 7-37. Saughall scored 118-2 with Andrews finishing on 34no. They host Haslington tomorrow.

Division Three side CAPENHURST lost away to Knutsford 2nds by two wickets. Capenhurst were 113ao with Clayton taking 5-13. After tea the hosts scored 118-8 with Clayton scoring 37. Capenhurst travel to Ellesmere Port 2nds tomorrow.
