Chester & District Junior League: Under 14s-16s Divisions round-up

JFC BOUGHTON and Upton JFC South are going great guns in Under 16s Division One.

Boughton (Charlie Everall 2, Chad Williams, Lewis Dodgson, Jye Findlay, Alex Hyland, Ryan Farrell) won 7-0 at Bunbury Youth while Upton triumphed 6-2 at Castrol Athletic.

Christleton Newscene cruised to a 9-0 home victory over Upton JFC North.

Newton Athletic lead the way in Division Two after their 4-0 success at Vicars Cross Dynamos. Chester Nomads (Tom Laycock 2) drew 2-2 at home to Elton Youth (Shaun Bailiff, James Pownall), whose Jack Matthewson starred.

Malpas & District edged it 3-2 at Pulford (Tomos Hughes, Rory Benson), for whom Hughes and Mike Kelly shared the MoM award. Blacon Youth White (Lewis Bradley, Chris Fath, Liam Lloyd, Ben Roberts, Tom Maloney, MoM Jordan O’Brian) had it easier, winning 6-1 at home to Hope Farm Hotspurs.

Vicars Cross Dynamos won 6-0 at home to Pulford and Malpas & District 3-2 at home to Princes Villa in U15s Division One.

In Division Two, JFC Boughton (Sion Brisbane, Cameron Park, Joe Williams 2) sent Rossway United packing 4-0. Blacon Youth were 4-2 winners at Chester Nomads.

Westminster Park won the sole U14s Division match at Park Saints 4-1.
