Football: Corner Pin to face derby rivals Lache Park in Chester Sunday Cup final

CORNER Pin will meet derby rivals Lache Park in the final of the Chester Sunday Cup.

Pin put four past Blacon as they won 4-2 with a penalty from Lee Woodworth plus goals from Lee Evans, Lee Highfield and Dave Roxborough.

Meanwhile Lache were sending Dee Miller packing with a 2-1 win, Nathan Mapletoft scoring twice.

Castrol Swan lost 1-0 to Lock Vaults in Concorde Trophies Section A.

Shaun Campbell scored the second-half winner to lift Vaults off the bottom.

Garry Hanley scored for Bank of America as they took the points against Custom House in Chester Chronicle Section B.

Mike Gerrard twice gave Upton YC the lead against Frodsham but they still lost 4-2.

Boughton Hall took a point from their 2-2 draw at Waverton. Mario Hinkson and Jimmy Turrell scored for Waverton.

In Dale Recycling Solutions Section C, Western Rangers won 3-1 against Anchor and Inter Barrow beat Carlton 3-1 at home.

Greg Dudley struck four for Red Lion in their 4-1 win over Grosvenor.

St Theresa’s claimed a surprise 6-3 win against Ring O’Bells, Frankie Abley (3), Louis Jennaway, Lee Wilkinson and Stuart Davies on target.

Andy Austin netted a hat-trick for Bells.

Tattenhall lost 4-2 to Greyhound Inn.
