A DOUBLE from Keiron Smith gave Chester Nomads 2nds’ winning scoreline at Hoole Rangers a flattering look.
The Queensferry Sports Premier Division clash ended 4-1 to Nomads, Jake McCallum and Martin Moores also scoring for the victors while Pete Wheeler found the net for Rangers.
Castrol Social drew 2-2 with Crossway thanks to goals from Jacques Bonfrere and Tom Riley. Mark Montgomery and Davide Pita were on target for visiting Crossway.
City Bar also held hosts Kelsall to a 2-2 draw, Sean and Nick Smith cancelling out strikes from Kelsall’s Andy Johnson and John Devonport.
Ross Broadbent bagged a brace for Highfield Athletic in their 2-2 against Sutton Way Villa, while Waggon & Horses rolled over Newton Bears 4-1 with goals from Gary Ellams, Paul Joiner, Andy Bale and Danny Davies.
Olympic Trophies Division One saw Cestrian Alex fall 7-2 at home to Frodsham United. David Dawson and Adie Gough struck for Alex but five goals from Chris Carden were supplemented by strikes from Mark Southall and John Colvourne.
Robin Hood beat Highfield Athletic 2nds 4-3. Craig Weaver got a hat-trick for Highfield but Paddy Bleakley (2), Glenn George and Jake Harrison edged it for Hood.
MBCS registered a 4-1 win over Vicars Cross Doves in DevaWeb Services Division Two thanks to Adie Martin, Graham Bennion and Mike Bowers (2).
Moneysupermarket.com slipped to a 5-1 home defeat against Chester Nomads 4ths, Paul Hughes scoring for the hosts.
