Wrexham FC manager Dean Saunders officially opens Johnstown Sports Pavilion

JOHNSTOWN Sports Pavilion, Heol Kenyon, Johnstown, has been officially opened by Wrexham Football Club manager and assistant Wales manager Dean Saunders.

Work carried out included an extension to the front of the building, which has seen two new changing rooms and shower facilities installed, to accommodate the number of youth and senior teams that play weekly at Heol Kenyon.

Johnstown Youth Football Club has been working with Wrexham County Borough Council and local councillor David Bithell to secure funding for the project, with £100,000 secured from the Landfill Community’s Fund.
