Police 'concerned' over missing boy

Police are "increasingly concerned" about a five-year-old boy who went missing on Monday morning.

Rhys Moorhead was last seen playing in his grandparents' garden in Celandine Close, Marton, Middlesbrough, at 9.30am.

Cleveland Police mounted a search for the 4ft 3in blond-haired boy without success before appealing for information about his whereabouts.

A spokeswoman said police were "increasingly concerned for the whereabouts" of the boy. His orange or red bicycle was also missing.

Rhys, who has blue eyes, was last seen wearing jeans, maroon trainers and a red short-sleeved top with a hood.
