HIGHER salt dishes on Zizzi menu included pizza Sofia, which had 6.7g salt per portion, risotto al funghi con pollo (5.6g) and pollo Cesare (salad) at 5g salt per portion.
A lower salt dessert was mela croccante (hot apple and amaretto crumble with vanilla ice cream), which has 0.9g of salt.
Head of marketing Helen Higgins said: “We are aware of the health issues surrounding salt in food and are in discussions with the FSA.
“We will also continue to review the nutritional values of our menus and, where possible, improve nutritional content without affecting taste.”
