Line-up for Chester Visual Arts Festival 2009

CHESTER’S latest festival could compete with Heinz for its variety.

The Chester Visual Arts Festival, which runs from tomorrow (Saturday) to May 31, offers 57 events including the Lord Mayor of Chester’s photographic competition, a circus games art workshop and a portrait masterclass.

The festival is a celebration of the work of artists and arts organisations in Chester and beyond.

Two key events are collaborations with Chester’s twin towns of Sens in France and Lorrach in Germany.
