CHILDREN from St Theresa’s Primary School in Blacon have been helping to improve their environment by planting bulbs.
They joined with CDHT staff to plant a number of different varieties, which will flower in the spring.
Headteacher Nicola Kirkman said: “The children got to contribute to the environment of their local community, which they loved.
“They are hoping to make a difference to the local neighbourhood and were genuinely enthusiastic to be a part of it.”
