CHILDREN at Highfield Primary School in Blacon did their bit for Children in Need last week.
The youngsters wore yellow clothes, baked cakes, sold Pudsey Bear chocolates and released hundreds of yellow balloons to raise funds for the BBC charity.
The event, which was organised by the school’s PTFA (Parent Teachers and Friends Association), raised £323.38.
