Creativity gets reward at show

GREEN-FINGERED gardeners, arty adults and crafty children celebrated the Frodsham Grow It And Make It Show at Frodsham Community Centre last week.

There were a huge number of entries at this year’s event and Frodsham mayor Pammi Taylor was on hand to reward the creative talents of all involved.

Secretary Fiona Purcell said: “An array of vegetables, flowers, crafts, table produce, art and photography were on display and entries in the children’s classes were excellent.”

Pupils from Frodsham’s primary schools were busy during the final weeks of the summer term designing posters to advertise the show and the best designs were given prizes by the president Miss Margaret Blythe.
