A NEW name has signalled a new era for a famous Chester bistro.
Bouchon is the new name for Francs Brasserie on Cuppin Street.
It has been relaunched by Gordon Ramsey’s former sidekick, head chef Michael Hughes and top Chester restaurateur Brenden Moradi.
The pair have transformed the bistro into a highly-acclaimed restaurant, complete with boutique style seating, contemporary art work, and an exquisite haute cuisine.
Brenden, who has notched up industry awards for customer service, said the switch from well-known brand to Bouchon was a ‘step in the right direction’. “Michael’s food, the new décor and the service is a world apart from what customers remember of the former restaurant,” he said.
“Michael’s credentials and experience of working with the likes of Simon Radley at the Grosvenor and in some of the best kitchens in Lyon, have transformed the menu.
“The romanticism and ethos of top quality produce used to deliver the finest food imaginable stole everyone’s imaginations when Michael returned from his travels and Bouchon was the perfect fit,” added Brenden.
