New design agreed for home in Chester’s green belt

ALTERATIONS were proposed to the design of a previously approved green belt property.

The application was made by house builders Seddon Homes at the former Smithy House Garage on Station Road, Mouldsworth.

Permission for four detached properties at the vacant garage, described at one stage as an eyesore, dates back to 2005, according to a report.

The house builders told planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council they wished to change the design of one of the four houses so it would face Station Road.

The application was recommended for approval and the borough council agreed the revised plans.
