Chester restaurant stages Spanish night in aid of Hospice of the Good Shepherd

THE shores of the Mediterranean came to Chester as the Commercial Hotel hosted an Ibiza-themed night to raise money for the Hospice Of The Good Shepherd.

Punters were served sangria and treated to an eclectic playlist of Spanish music before enjoying a tapas-style selection of traditional Iberian foods, given a modern twist courtesy of chef Eddie Oxley-Pascall.

Entertainment was provided by local magician Simon Vanderbelt, who performed a number of mind-reading magic tricks.

The raffle included a range of prizes from flights to Ibiza, tickets to The Laugh Inn and a free hair cut at Essensuals Toni & Guy.
