Blacon man committed to Chester Crown Court on burglary charge

A MAN accused of burglary has been committed to Chester Crown Court.

Michael Tegwyn Davies, 35, of Fernhill Road, Blacon, appeared before Chester and Ellesmere Port magistrates on Friday.

He is charged with trespassing in an Aspen Way property with intent to steal, stealing tools from a shed, possessing a Stanley knife in Hoole Lane and possessing a quantity of the class B drug amphetamine.

The offences are all alleged to have taken place on December 4.

Davies, who has entered no plea to the charges, was remanded in custody.

Defending solicitor James Bagby said there was no application for bail.
