Jan 7 2012 Chester Chronicle
CHESTER Police are asking the public to assist in identifying a man whose body was found this morning (Saturday).
The body was found hanging in an underground car park of the Total Fitness centre on Liverpool Road, Chester, at around 8.25am. It was seen by two passing joggers who alerted police. At this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances.
Police enquiries have been ongoing during the day to try and identify the deceased man, so that next of kin can be informed.
While the man had no identification on him, he did have an ipod which has Polish wording on it, suggesting this may be his first language.
The man is described as white, aged around 19-early 20s, six feet tall, and of proportionate build. He has mousey brown spikey hair, and dark eye brows with ginger in them.
He was wearing a blue hooded jumper, blue body warmer, black Nike gloves, grey tracksuit bottoms, and white Nike trainers with luminous green logo/detail on them.
He also wore a silver coloured chain necklace, with three interwoven circular bands on it.
Police are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man from the description given, to make contact with them.
They are also asking those who share accomodation in flats or houses, as well as those managing hotels, bed and breakfasts or similar establishments, to consider whether they have had somebody staying who fits the description of the deceased, who has not returned home today - or may have stayed previously.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Chetser Police on 101 - the police non emergency number - quoting incident 288 of 07/01/2012.
