Man pleads not guilty to attacking University of Chester student

A MAN from Burnley has pleaded not guilty to attacking a woman in Chester.

Gareth Storey, 21, from Fence, denied a charge of assaulting 19-year-old University of Chester student Lydia Harris in the city on December 8 last year.

Magistrates set a trial date for February 21, to be held in Chester and Ellesmere Port Magistrates Court.

Storey was bailed until then, on condition he does not attempt to contact Miss Harris directly or indirectly.
