Fatal accident leads to closure of M56 in Cheshire

POLICE closed the M56 in Cheshire after a fatal accident on New Year’s Eve.

At just after 9.15pm emergency services were called to junction 14 of the M56 after reports of a collision.

Police closed both lanes between junction 14 and 15 in both directions.
