QUEEN’S School girls were on song at Chester’s outdoor Christmas market.
The junior and senior choirs performed a number of Christmas favourites, including carols that the girls themselves had written.
Headmistress Sarah Clark said: “The Christmas market provided a real wonderland backdrop to the carol concert and I think the girls really enjoyed being able to sing for the public.
“Music is very important at our school and this was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to showcase their abilities and love of music ahead of the carol concert in the cathedral.”
