A VILLAGE school is celebrating after being rated as one of the best primary schools in England.
Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary School has joined the top 6% of primary schools in the country after being judged as ‘outstanding’ overall by Ofsted inspectors.
Headteacher Alyson Thacker said: “I am extremely proud of all the staff and pupils at Bunbury school – it is an amazing result.
“The report stated that all pupils make outstanding progress because of outstanding teaching and an exciting curriculum.
“It highlighted the exemplary attitudes and behaviour of pupils and praised the excellent spiritual, moral and social development of pupils at Bunbury school.”
