Kat Lewis, 16, and Caroline Turner, 17, proposed the motion: This House Believes That Parents Should Be Responsible For Serious Crimes Committed By Their Children at the Quaker Meeting Rooms in Chester.
Headmistress Sarah Clark said: “The students showed maturity, intellectual rigor and passion for their arguments. It was a pleasure to see these young people engage with fundamental principles of legal rights and responsibilities to this degree.”
