Cheshire police investigate after several cars are vandalised in Hoole

POLICE in Chester are investigating after a spate of car vandalism was reported in Hoole at the weekend.

Vandals scratched the bodywork of a number of cars parked on roads in the Faulkner Street and Philip Street area overnight between Friday and Saturday.

PC Gareth Lawrence, who is co-ordinating the investigation, said: “This is nothing more than a mindless act of vandalism, and the culprits clearly have no acknowledgement of the cost or inconvenience that this type of criminality wreaks upon the victims.”
