Residents can carol in a forest of decorated trees as Frodsham gets into the festive mood

BRIGHTLY coloured baubles and glittering tinsel will fill a Frodsham church as residents showcase their best dressed Christmas trees.

This December Frodsham will be getting into the festive mood with a festival where families can enjoy carol singing in a forest of locally decorated Christmas trees.

Over the three day Christmas Tree Festival at Frodsham Methodist Church families can enjoy sipping hot drinks and eating home-made cakes and turkey barms, while musicians perform among the trees.

There will be craft stalls, quizzes and competitions as well as a variety of activities for children and teenagers to enjoy.

This year’s festival comes after hundreds poured into Frodsham Methodist Church to get in the mood for Christmas last year.

And organisers hope that this year will be even more successful, with a special carol service around the trees predicted to raise hundreds of pounds for Emmaus, a charity working with homeless people across the UK, and Frodsham Methodist Church.

The Rev Pat Christopher said: “It was fantastic to see so many people at the festival last year.

“We extend a very warm welcome to you to come along this year and get your Christmas festivities off to a flying start.”

The Christmas Tree Festival will run from Friday, December 9 to Monday, December 12. For more details call the church office on 01928 735312 or visit www.frodshammethodist.org.
