Bus shelter advertising agreed in Great Sutton

AN UPGRADED advertising display was put forward for a bus shelter in a shopping centre.

The double sided, illuminated panels were proposed in the shelter fronting 438 Chester Road, Great Sutton, by Clear Channel UK. No objections were raised by highway officers.

Chester Road is the main thoroughfare through the shopping centre according to planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council.

They did not object to the upgrading as the advertising panels were a common feature of modern day bus shelters. A number of retail premises nearby also had illuminated signage.

Consent was granted for the panels as they would not be detrimental to road safety.
