Two dogs rescued from house fire in Chester

FIREFIGHTERS rescued two dogs after a blaze at a house in Chester.

Crews were called to a property in Cornwall Street at 2.49pm yesterday (Friday, November 4) where they discovered a fire in the kitchen.

They rescued the two dogs and used a hose reel jet and a specialist fan to deal with the blaze.

One dog was given oxygen at the scene while the other was taken to the vets by a neighbour.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
