Car blaze near canal in Ellesmere Port

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car blaze on Lees Lane, Ellesmere Port this morning (Sunday, October 30).

A crew on one fire engine attended the deliberately ignited vehicle close to the canal at 7am.

They used one hose reel to extinguish the flames but the car had already been engulfed in flames and suffered 100% damage.

Police were also in attendance.
