Chester MP welcomes government decision to release all documents surrounding the Hillsborough disaster

A CHESTER MP who has campaigned for answers since the Hillsborough disaster has said the disclosure of documents will stop families living with ‘unnecessary anguish’.

Stephen Mosley MP spoke in the Commons debate on behalf of two families who lost loved ones in the 1989 tragedy.

“I hope the Williams and Rogers family from Chester will find the answers they seek,” said Mr Mosley.

“The events of that fateful day in the spring of 1989 have lived long in the memories of those who so sadly lost their loved ones – they will never be forgotten. We must not allow the families to experience any more unnecessary anguish, and we must grant them the dignity that they so rightly deserve.

“For their sake alone, clarity and full disclosure is of the utmost importance."
