FIREFIGHTERS battled through the night to control a blaze which tore through a Tarporley garden.
At just after 2am on Thursday, firefighters were called to Buckingham Avenue after an electrical fault set a shed on fire.
Crews from Chester battled to put out the flames which tore through the shed before spreading, destroying a swimming pool and neighbouring fencing and sheds.
Crew manager David Daneo said: “The wife woke up and looked out of the window and realised that the shed was on fire.
“No-one was hurt in the blaze which is thought to have been caused by faulty electrics within the shed.”
