Two arrested after attack on man in Chester

TWO Chester men have been arrested following a serious assault which left a local man with severe head injuries.
At just after 2.15pm today (Sunday, October 9) police were called to Hoole Road after a 40-year-old man was found with serious head injuries.
The man, who has been confirmed as being from the Chester area, was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital where he is been treated for injuries which police have described as severe.
Police arrested two men in Ermine Road, HooleŠafter the assault which is believed to have happened on the street earlier today.
Anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the assault is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 0845 450 000 quoting incident 585 ofŠOctober 9. Š
