FIREFIGHTERS are investigating the cause of a fire which ripped through a horse box in the early hours of the morning.
At just after 3.45am today (Friday, October 7) firefighters were called after reports that a mobile horse box was on fire in Road Street, Tarporley.
Crews from Tarporley and Chester Fire Station used two hose reels to battle the blaze which completely destroyed the vehicle.
Crew Manager David Daneo confirmed that the box was empty at the time of the fire and that no one was hurt during the blaze.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
