Queen’s School string quartet play at former pupil’s wedding

A BRIDE went back to school to book entertainment for her big day.

Katherine Fennell, who left The Queen’s School in 2000, arranged a string quartet of current students to play at her wedding to former King’s School boy Tom Lee.

Violinists Emma Naylor, Ankita Sahni and Lucy Finnigan and cellist Katie Atkins travelled to Henfaes in Nannerch, near Mold, to perform for Katherine and Tom at their reception in June.

Katherine said: “We had so many compliments on their performance and it meant so much to us.

“They played beautifully and were a credit to their music teachers and to Queen’s.”
