Motorcyclist suffers leg injuries in crash at Broxton

A MOTORCYLIST suffered serious leg injuries in an accident on the A41 on Sunday (August 28).
Police were called to the scene near Broxton, just before noon, following a collision between a motorcycle and a Ford Mondeo.
The 42-year-old motorcyclist from Warrington, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital. No one else was injured.
The roundabout at the junction of the A41 and A49 near Broxton has been closed while investigators look into the cause of the crash and drivers are advised to seek alternative routes until the road reopens.
Witnesses are asked to contact the police on 0845 458 0000, quoting the incident of August 28.
