A MAN stole goods worth hundreds of pounds in an effort to fund his drug habit, a court heard.
Christopher Alan Davidson, 29, appeared in front of magistrates in Chester and pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from shops in Chester and Ellesmere Port.
The court heard how on June 28 this year, Davidson, of Hatton Road, Blacon, stole aftershave and perfume totalling £169 from Debenhams’s city centre store.
Davidson was given a community order with a 12-month supervision requirement and ordered to complete a six-month drug rehabilitation course.
