Burst water main closes road in Tarporley

MOTORISTS suffered severe delays when a road in Tarporley was closed following a burst water main.
The A49 Tarporley Road in Tarporley was closed northbound between the Eaton Lane junction and the A54 junction last night (Tuesday, August 23), because of the burst water main.
Motorists were being diverted along the A54 Chester Road and A51.
It is hoped the road will be reopened by 8.30am today (Wednesday).
