EXPECTANT mums in Tattenhall will be able to dance their way through a healthy pregnancy.
From August 28, dance instructor Mandy Clare will be bringing an unusual type of pregnancy exercise to The Studio – in the form of Nia and Zumba classes.
‘Dancing for Birth’ classes are said to contribute to brief labours and lower levels of discomfort during births, as well as enabling women to tone up and regain their shape quickly after pregnancy.
Mandy said: “I think Dancing For Birth is such a unique and wonderful programme – it offers women something that is fun and light-hearted, while also being based on good evidence of what works.
“You don’t even need to be able to dance – the moves are very simple and it’s also a great way to make new friends at this special time of your life.”
Tattenhall classes start on August 28 with a free demo session at The Studio from 10am. To book a place, call 01829 250536 or email mandy_dancekatalyst@ yahoo.co.uk.
